BioSchwartz Greens Superfood Review

BioSchwartz Greens SuperfoodWe’ve made it our top priority to investigate superfoods (greens) products that claim to improve all of our lives. We’ve found a lot that lives up to their claims; however, there are some that just don’t make the cut.

Today, we will look at BioSchwartz Greens Superfood and see if what they are claiming as benefits stand true once we complete our research.

We do want to mention that all of BioSchwartz products go through a rigorous six-stage test. That’s pretty impressive since it means that once the product is ready for the market, it is already FDA certified and third-party tested.

BioSchwartz Greens Superfood also boasts about being approved by many different healthcare professionals. That’s a pretty good incentive to try their Greens Superfood if you ask us.

But let’s dig into this review and see what all is being revealed about BioSchwartz Greens Superfood.

BioSchwartz is relatively new to the industry, considering they were founded in 2015. However, their CEO, Tom Mooy, isn’t new to the consumer healthcare industry, nor to pharmaceuticals.

He’s an international businessman with lots of experience he’s collected over many years in both these industries. So we weren’t shocked to see that BioSchwartz Greens Superfood has only been around a few years.

One of the most noteworthy mentions about this company is that besides their tough six-stage test that every product undergoes, they also claim their products are pure and potent with clinical trials to back them up.

BioSchwartz specializes in manufacturing non-GMO products and offers 40+ products across their entire healthcare line, including ones that support weight loss, nail and hair growth, along with many more that support everyday living.

On the website of BioSchwartz Greens Superfood, they are quite transparent when it comes to the many benefits they claim for this product.

  • Increases Energy Levels
  • Supports Immunity
  • Promotes Cardiovascular Health
  • Supports Circulation
  • Helps Eliminate Waste & Toxins
  • Promotes Antioxidant Activity
  • Aids in Healthy Digestion & Regularity
  • Stimulates Nutrient Absorption
  • Supports Healthy Weight Management

That’s a lot of benefits for one product to claim. However, we are beginning to see more and more supplements hitting the market with long lists of benefits. But what really matters is what’s in the tub of BioSchwartz Greens Superfood.

The first thing we noticed about the 50+ ingredients inside a tub of BioSchwartz Greens Superfood is that there are proprietary blends. We were so disappointed to see this because of how thorough the brand is with six-stage tests for its products.

In case you don’t know what proprietary blends mean, we will spell it out very simply. You will never know if you are getting the recommended required weight per ingredient because the weights are not revealed on their product.

To take it one step further, you know you need spinach leaf, and in this formula, there’s 1000 mg, which is relatively lower than the recommended dosage. And this was a stand-alone ingredient that actually showed the dosage.

It makes us wonder if the other weights being used are hitting the recommended values either. Unfortunately, when it comes to proprietary blends, it’s all a guessing game, and nobody really knows the truth behind the ingredients.

Here’s what we do know about what’s in each tub of BioSchwartz Greens Superfood:

  • Vegetable Blend (600mg) – Carrot, Tomato, Beet Root, Kale
  • Alkalizing Blend (150mg) – Alfalfa, Wheatgrass, Barley Grass, Oat Grass, Broccoli, Cabbage, Parsley, Kale, Spirulina, Chlorella, Sea Kelp, Dulse, Dandelion, Broccoli Sprouted Seeds
  • Ancient Grains Blend (400mg) – Amaranth, Barley, Buckwheat, Durum, Millet, Chia, Quinoa, Spelt
  • Superfruit Blend (315mg) – Banana, Blueberry, Bilberry, Acai Berry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Tart Cherry, Elderberry, Cranberry
  • Sprouted Seed Blend (50mg) – Millet Sprouted Seed, Broccoli Sprouted Seed
  • Digestive Enzyme Blend (25mg) – Amylase, Protease, Glucoamylase, Lipase, Cellulase, Bromelain
  • Probiotic/Prebiotic Blend (2500mg) – Bacillus Coagulans (1 billion CFU), Apple Fiber, Agave Inulin, Gum Acacia, Xanthan Gum
  • Cinnamon Bark (25mg), Alfalfa Leaf (400mg), Spirulina (50mg), Ginger Root (50mg)
  • Other ingredients: Xylitol, Stevia Leaf Extract, Citric Acid, Malic Acid

The Green Superfood formula uses certified organic ingredients, aside from the five digestive enzymes. They are nut-free, soy-free, and non-GMO. If it weren’t for the proprietary blends, we would agree that BioSchwartz Greens Superfood is an excellent product based on all the ingredients.

When it comes to the taste, it’s pretty standard tasting when it comes to greens and has an earthy note that is hard to miss. But again, this is very normal for a natural flavored greens product.

Note: BioSchwartz Greens Superfood is naturally sweetened with natural acids and Stevia.

There are only six (6) reviews on their website for this product, and most of them are promoting the product and received an incentive to post their review.

So we went to another source where the reviews are always raw and unfiltered – hello Amazon. The best part about going to an outside source for customer reviews is that they are usually unbiased and honest.

When we checked for BioSchwartz Greens Superfood on Amazon, we were astonished to find well over 1,500 reviews for this product. And better yet, they are averaging 4.5 stars out of 5. That’s pretty impressive if you ask us.

Here’s what people are saying:

Abundance of health for the price, so much health, so many plants in one bottle.Alberta

I was worried about the taste, but oddly I have come to enjoy it, and look forward to it. Peace of mind and energy.Greg

It’s very healthy, and just because the flavor isn’t amazing, doesn’t make it super hard to drink. Very good nutrients and benefits.Jake

There just isn’t that high a content of the dark healthy greens in this particular product.K.

Over all I would say this and vitamins make a difference in your overall energy levels and cognitive abilities.Sandy

Unlike other green powders, this one has probiotics. The taste is good, and not gritty.David

We scoured through a lot of the reviews, and unfortunately, most people want to talk about the taste and texture instead of the way the product makes them feel.

However, there are a lot of positive reviews on how BioSchwartz Greens Superfood has helped improve people’s general health overall. The negative reviews were mainly about the taste, which is always expected when it comes to drinking greens.

BioSchwartz Greens Superfood is available on their website for $24.99 per tub of 30 servings ($0.83 per serving), which is pretty good considering everything they claim for the benefits.

If you want to save an additional 10% on your BioSchwartz Greens Superfood, then you will need to sign up for their subscription plan. They only offer one kind of subscription, and it means you will get a tub of BioSchwartz Greens Superfood every 30 days.

Since each tub is 30 servings, you should be going through one tub a month. This is pretty normal for a subscription service; however, we’ve seen ones that offer anywhere from one to three months subscriptions.

So we wouldn’t suggest doing this unless you already know you will continue using this brand for the long haul. Otherwise, just buy one and see what you think.

You can score free shipping if you spend more than $35, which is pretty easy with all the products they offer. Other than that, shipping charges vary between the standard rate of $5.95 and up to $19.95 for priority shipping. They only ship within the United States.

BioSchwartz does offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on this product and all of its other products.

Note: This product is available on other websites, so be sure to shop around for the best price before purchasing.

BioSchwartz Greens Superfood looks super impressive straight out the gate with all its rigid testing and is FDA approved. But what we don’t get is why they opted to use proprietary blends? We could stand behind their product if we actually knew what we were getting in our serving of daily greens.

We can’t say for sure that they aren’t meeting the daily recommended values per ingredient, but what we can say is that if they aren’t transparent about what’s in that tub of BioSchwartz Greens Superfood, then we will never know the truth behind the label.

There are a ton of reviews to support BioSchwartz Greens Superfood and if you want to try it and see how you feel, by all means, go ahead. But we will tell you that there are a lot of other brands on the market that give full transparency at the same value.
