Elixir Greens Review

Elixir greensElixir Greens is a super greens powder that claims to be an all in one health supplement. It uses over 40 natural ingredients, from whole foods, herbs, vitamins, and probiotics. These supplements allow you to absorb and use more nutrients than if you just ate all 40 ingredients alone. Elixir Greens was developed by a Ph.D. holding doctor and has several claimed benefits.

We are going to take a close look at Elixir Greens, including how it is made, what is inside of it, and the company and doctor who made it. Then we’ll look at all the benefits it gives you, what customers have said, and whether it is worth your hard-earned money.

Then we will give you our final verdict and leave you to try for yourself. Let’s get this review started, shall we?

Welleco was designed for busy people on the go who need supplements to support their health. Dr. Simone Laubscher Ph.D. first created the Super Elixir greens to aid in co-founder Elle Macpherson’s health.

Both Elle and her doctor knew that the body has 11 systems and that those systems become imbalanced as we age. So they sought to give the body a fighting chance against this and created the first Super Elixir Greens by finding what ingredients could balance out the oncoming imbalances created by age.

Elle took on the challenge and has been taking two teaspoons of super elixir greens a day, along with a plant-heavy diet. She states that she has never felt better in her life. Other than that story and a list of all the products Wellco offers, there’s not much else there on the about page.

There’s no information about how the company grows, the products, or who works there. Nothing about how Wellco was founded or the role that super elixir greens played in its rise. We do like that the co-founder of the company is using this product and that a Ph.D. holding doctor is the one who designed the formula.

However, if you are looking for information about the company, you will have to look elsewhere.

Super Elixir Greens has many benefits for you, and while they don’t dive deep, they do mention some of the following:

  • Supporting Gut Health
  • Providing Immune Support
  • Increasing your Energy
  • Health increase for hair, skin, and nails
  • Antioxidant properties to heal your skin

For some of these, they do explain why certain ingredients in the powder will give you certain benefits. For example, they say:

“Horsetail Herb Extract for its natural silica content, which helps support the production of healthy connective tissue, and the formation of collagen for skin, hair and nails health.”

They also go into an explanation with the antioxidants from the grape and pomegranate seed powers and the mushroom powders that help to keep your immune system healthy.

So they do connect the dots a little bit for you, but we would still like to see them go more in-depth and give us more benefits and support for their claims. As it stands now, the page is a little bare in terms of information. Not even all of the ingredients are listed out on the website; instead, they are on a label.

While the product is made by a licensed doctor and the founder stands by it, it is a little disheartening to see the lack of information and connection made with their benefits.

The product is made in Australia using both local and imported ingredients, and right off the bat, the page shows their commitment to quality. However, while they show the label and the ingredients, they do not show the individual ingredient weight, only the weights of several ingredients lumped together.

This is a problem, as without the ingredient weight, we can’t give an accurate measurement of just how much of each ingredient is inside of the product. However, some of the ingredients that we can see include:

  • Ginger
  • Barley grass powder
  • Broccoli powder
  • Apple
  • Pomegranate
  • Maitake Mushroom
  • Tumeric

So there’s a lot of good stuff in there, and in some cases, they manage to connect it to the benefits of the powder. But the ingredients are all on a label and not properly listed out, so they can be very hard to read.

However, what is clear is the fact that the powders are vegan, have no GMO’s, and are gluten, dairy, sugar, and soy-free. However, they disclaim that there might be traces of those materials and nuts inside the product due to the factory handling those ingredients.

Plus, Elixir Greens couldn’t be easier to use! All you need to do is mix two teaspoons into a beverage of your choice and then drink up. Even the company’s co-founder mixes two teaspoons in with her morning smoothie, and she shows off the results. Whichever flavor you buy, the powder tastes good, and soon you’ll see results.

Lemon and ginger on table

The customers have spoken, and they love it. On the website, there are over 1,300 reviews, with over 1,100 of them as 5-star reviews. Most of the reviewers either comment on the energy-boosting powers of the supplement or the overall health of their skin, nails, and hair.

Verified buyer Jessica O writes:

I started off with a two-week pouch of The Elixir so I could travel with some greens. The entire trip, my skin improved daily, and I had not changed my topical routine. Now that I’m home in NYC, I’ll be running back to SOHO for the Caddy size, so I won’t be without. Thank you Elle, the combination of ingredients have made a huge difference in my hair, skin, and nails. Skip the collagen powders(gross) and go green!

So even with two weeks’ use under her belt, she saw noticeable improvements to her health! That’s pretty amazing for such a short time of use.

There’s a lot of options for you whenever you buy this product, but for starters, know that it comes in two flavors: Lemon and Ginger and Pineapple and Lime.

Other than the change in flavor, everything else is exactly the same. Each Elixir Greens bag comes in 300-gram bags, and the Pineapple and Lime also come in a 300-gram caddy for easy portability.

We know how many servings are inside a bag, so judging the price based on serving size can be easily done. There are 30 servings per container if you take the recommended two teaspoons (or 10 grams) in a day.

For 30 servings at 80 dollars, the price comes around too: 2.67 dollars; let’s round up to three. One pack is about a month’s worth of product, which could be a bit pricy for some people if they have to pay 72-80 dollars every month.

Speaking of the price, you have a few options!

One bag of either flavor costs 80 dollars, which is a bit expensive. Additionally, you can subscribe to get 10% off and only pay 72 dollars. The Pineapple and Lime caddy costs 135 dollars or 121 dollars with the 10% subscription. But you do get some portability with it, for the extra dough.

Additionally, the Lemon and Ginger come in a two-pack set, for 160 dollars and no subscription offer. It is a bit pricey and can take a chunk out of your wallet if you are not careful.

However, since it is a 300-gram bag and a serving size is only two teaspoons, the bag should last you a month.

If you have the money and want to give Elixir Greens a try, then we’d say try it. If you don’t have that much to spend on superfoods, then you might want to look for some lower-priced options.

It’s hard to give a yes or a no on this one. There’s not a lot of information about how the product will give you it’s benefits, not a lot of information on the company, and the ingredient weights aren’t shown on the website.

However, the powder was made by a licensed doctor with a Ph.D., and the company built itself on it. Coupled with the fact that the founder uses it every day and the over 1,000 positive reviews on the store page alone, that gives it some major credibility in our eyes.

Plus, a 300-gram bag is more product than most places offer, even with the increased price.

In the end, we could say that it boils down to your finances. If you can spring for a bag at 80 dollars, then do so. Try out the recommended two teaspoons with liquid for a few days and see what benefits you see. If you don’t have that kind of money to spend on a superfood, then there are several lower-priced options out there.
