Along with being organic and clean, it also boasts 21g of protein in its formula. This alone makes it stand out from a lot of the other brands specializing in greens.
Some of the claims that we found interesting were about how this formula provides vitamins A, C, K, iron, and even phosphorus. We will be interested in seeing exactly how much of these vitamins are in their formula (if they reveal their amounts).
But, aside from those claims, they also say that Orgain Protein & Greens will support your digestive system, help with weight management, and boost your energy levels while helping your muscles recover.
These are some pretty bold claims, and we are very interested to see how they are backing them up with their ingredients.

Orgain was established back in 2009 by a gentleman named Andrew Abraham. He is a physician and a really big advocate of greens and nutrition. He also considers himself to be a self-proclaimed kitchen chemist.
Andrew Abraham is also a cancer survivor who beat a rare type of cancer by focusing on his health. This is the main story behind the success of Orgain.
He spent a great deal of time drinking green shakes that his Mother concocted daily for him. He attributes his clean bill of health to those green drinks and set out to change the world with enthusiasm for powerful superfoods that are clean and organic.
Orgain is hugely popular, but not just for its clean products. They are big when it comes to sharing their wealth and success.

It appears that Orgain has a good philosophy when it comes to health and well-being. We’re really impressed with the way they contribute to society as a whole.

As you see, this is a different approach than most other brands. But while we were happy to see all this listed, we dug a little deeper and found these to also be true about the Protein & Greens formula:

When looking into the ingredients list for Orgain Protein & Greens, we were surprised to find there are only 18 ingredients revealed. In a really good way, we were all shocked that ALL of the ingredients are organically sourced. High five!
Unfortunately, the bad news, Orgain Protein & Greens, is not transparent about their ingredients amounts and uses proprietary blends. This is a real bummer for us; we really had hoped that they would be fully transparent, along with being a whole organic product.

Not a single ingredient has the weight revealed in this formula. The problem with that is nobody other than Orgain really knows what’s inside and if they meet the daily recommended values for their ingredients.
On the plus side, it is a USDA certified organic product, and it is certified as vegan as well. Along with being non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, lactose-free, and kosher.

The reviews that we found with fewer stars were generally about the taste, which is expected since everybody’s taste is different.

We can see why this brand is hugely popular, and we don’t doubt that the man behind the company is extremely passionate about the well-being of others and putting his heart and soul into this brand and its reputation.
His story alone makes you a believer in what he set out to do in the world, and we applaud him for telling his story and creating some of the most well-known healthcare products in the world.
However, as you probably already know about us and how careful we are about recommending any products that don’t fully disclose their ingredients amounts. It’s hard to stand behind a product or brand when you don’t know what you are consuming.
If Orgain would become completely transparent about their ingredients, we would fully support their products because we believe they are sincere in their health endeavors.
