One of the easiest ways to reach your daily recommended intake of minerals and vitamins is to incorporate a good mix of a healthy diet and supplements.
Through the years, many people turn to super greens to get all their requirements throughout the day. Adding greens to your diet is a powerful source for supporting your health goals.
But, not all greens are created equal. The average person should be consuming between one and three cups of greens per day based on their age. If you work out or are physically active, you probably need even more!
Finding the best greens product that is transparent about its ingredients and benefits is really the only way to go. We made it our personal goal to dig deep into greens products and find out exactly what’s in them.
Today we are looking into Naked Nutrition Naked Greens. It appears from the packaging that it is offering some pretty good benefit claims. We will take a look into what the Naked Nutrition Naked Greens has packed in it to validate its claims.
Naked Nutrition Naked Greens was created by Stephen Zieminski. He founded the brand Naked Nutrition about six years ago in the State of Florida.
Naked Nutrition claims to be a transparent brand that fully commits providing some of the best protein powders and other supplements on the market today. It also prides itself on not using gimmicks or marketing that many other brands use.
Its website is very basic and reminds us of an Amazon page. Which oddly enough, it offers to purchase its products from either its webpage or from Amazon directly through its website.
Naked Nutrition has a line of products that include various types of protein powders and a host of other nutritional products, including Naked Nutrition Naked Greens.
Its website boasts many articles based on health and fitness, plus you can find some interesting recipes designed for using Naked Nutrition products.
Naked Nutrition Naked Greens claims to be a premium daily greens powder. It contains just ten different ingredients that are mainly organic. From organic vegetables, grasses to organic probiotics & prebiotic.
It also includes organic ginseng and organic adaptogens in its superfood power blend. Naked Nutrition Naked Greens claims to be an energizing daily blend that provides over two servings of vegetables and grasses in each drink.

Naked Nutrition Naked Greens claims the following:
- Promotes Detoxing the Body
- Improves Gut Health
- Immune System Support
- Helps with Stress Reduction
In reality, that is not a lot of claimed benefits, and it lacks claiming improved energy or fighting fatigue, which is normally found when consuming ginseng. By trying to keep its brand simple, it may have missed out on claiming some pretty big benefits.
The very first thing we noticed about the Naked Nutrition Naked Greens ingredient list is that they don’t reveal any of the dosages for its ingredients.
This is a real bummer for us because the brand claims to be transparent, but yet they have zero details about the amounts of each ingredient.
When a product doesn’t reveal the ingredient values, it will be nearly impossible to know if you are getting your recommended daily servings per each ingredient.
Here are the ingredients for Naked Nutrition Naked Greens, which they call an Organic Greens Blend with:
- Organic Broccoli
- Organic Alfalfa Grass
- Organic Kale
- Organic Spinach
- Organic Spirulina
- Organic Wheat Grass
- Organic Prebiotic
- Organic Ashwagandha
- Organic Panax Ginseng
You will also find that Naked Nutrition Naked Greens claims the following:
- No Artificial Sweeteners, Flavors, or Colors
- Only Ten Ingredients
Naked Nutrition Naked Greens doesn’t even disclose if it uses proprietary blends or the amount of the blend, which is even more disturbing. We are not a fan of using proprietary blends in any greens products and really prefer to know what we are consuming in volume.
Naked Nutrition Naked Greens only comes in an unflavored taste. It appears from the reviews that customers don’t mind the taste; however, a lot of people do mix it in with their juices, smoothies, or other products to blend to enhance the taste and or benefits.
There aren’t any cautions or warnings on this product other than the fact that it has not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration and that it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any diseases.
We always suggest that if you are taking prescribed medications or have an existing medical condition (including pregnancy), that you should check with your family doctor before consuming any new products. Better to be safe than sorry.
On the website for Naked Nutrition Naked Greens, there are 145 reviews with a rating of 5 out of five stars. This is why we like to check third-party sites for reviews on products; they are more reliable, honest, and unbiased.
We were a little concerned about using Amazon since the webpage for Naked Nutrition Naked Greens has a direct link to purchase from them. However, once we looked at Amazon, we could see that the reviews were real and that the rating was more realistic.
We found that Naked Nutrition Naked Greens has 177 global ratings on Amazon with 4.6 out of 5 stars. Here is a look at what customers are saying:
Naked Greens is really the basics which is exactly why I love it – to the point, no extras, no junk – organic greens.P.
This product is helping me kickstart a much more balanced and healthy lifestyle.S.
Naked Greens seems to be a quality product with good ingredients. It’s too early to tell if there are specific benefits, however, there is one definite drawback and that’s the taste which is pretty much to be expected with any greens product that is unflavored.A.
With Naked Greens, I like knowing I can now get the nutrition I have been lacking with only 4 net carbs per serving.K.
I love how it’s super easy on my stomach and to digest, as well as additional nutritional content added to my protein supplement.J.
It smells pretty “natural” and green, like a mixture of broccoli and grass (which makes sense as they are the top ingredients).A.
As far as we can see, people seem to enjoy using Naked Nutrition Naked Greens. The ratings that fell under three stars didn’t leave any comments. This could be due to the taste of greens in general; if you aren’t familiar with the taste, it can be difficult to swallow at first.
Naked Nutrition Naked Greens comes in a container with 245 grams, which is approximately 35 servings for a cost of $29.99. This price is the same on both Amazon and Naked Nutrition Naked Greens websites. The cost per serving comes out to about $0.85 per serving.
Naked Nutrition Naked Greens does offer a subscription discount of 5%. This means you will automatically get your container every month for $28.49 ($0.81 per serving). This is not a huge saving, but if you like the way the product works for you, then a savings is a saving.
However, we never recommend signing up for a subscription until you have tried the product. There is nothing worse than being subscribed to something you don’t like or won’t use.
You can score free shipping if you spend over $49 and live within the United States. If not, then there are two options for standard or expedited shipping based on your location. There is also an option for ‘afterpay’ for orders over $35.
If you live outside the United States, there is a possibility to get Naked Nutrition products shipped to the United Kingdom and Canada. You may also find third-party sites offering other international shipping options.
Everything about Naked Nutrition Naked Greens appeared to be transparent from the beginning. The website is clean and simplified, giving an easy, user-friendly experience.
However, when it came down to looking at the ingredient list, Naked Nutrition Naked Greens wasn’t transparent at all. Unfortunately, it does not disclose any amounts for any of the ingredients used in its formula.
This is a real problem for anybody wanting to make sure they are meeting their daily requirements for both vitamins and minerals.
But more importantly, when combining Naked Nutrition Naked Greens with other supplements that you might be taking, you could run the risk of getting either too much or too little of any specific ingredient.
We can’t stand behind a product that doesn’t fully disclose its ingredient values. If in the future, Naked Nutrition Naked Greens should decide to upgrade its label and include the amounts of each ingredient used in its formula.
We would be more than happy to give it another look and update our review. Until then, be well and get your greens in!
