The Proto-col website page for its Green Magic is very clean looking and informative. The overall packaging and branding are just as clean looking and gives it a sense of authority in the field of super greens.

Since Proto-col Green Magic comes in both powder form and capsule, we will investigate if there are any differences in consuming one vs. the other.
Proto-col Green Magic claims a lot of incredible health benefits when using its product on a regular basis. With its high level of antioxidants, dietary fiber, vitamin C, folate, and potassium, it could have the making of a powerhouse for greens.

It’s an impressive list, and we are really excited to see what is in the ingredient list. With this many powerful sources, you can’t really go wrong.
One of the things we loved most about Proto-col Green Magic at first was the land and sea aspect. Whenever you combine these types of ingredients together, it usually results in something magnificent.
However, when looking into the ingredients, we were disappointed to find out that Proto-col Green Magic does not list each ingredient’s amounts.
The problem with this is that we will never know what we are consuming and if any of the ingredients meet the daily requirements. This is such a letdown; we had really hoped that Proto-col Green Magic was fully transparent.
Here is a look at the ingredient list:

- Kamut Wheat Grass Juice
- High Apple Fibre
- Soy Lecithin
- Barley Grass Juice
- Broken Cell Wall Chlorella
- COenzyme (CO-Q-10)
- Rice Kernel Membrane Powder
- SOD w/catalase
- Jerusalem Artichoke Powder
- Nova Scotia Dulse
- Icelandic Kelp
- Apple Pectin
- Lactobacillus Acidophilus (lactose-free)
- Bifidus bacteria (lactose-free)
We are surprised to see some of these ingredients on this list and would have loved to know how much was used per serving so we can know how well it works.
Proto-col Green Magic is gluten-free, dairy-free, lactose-free, and vegan. It doesn’t appear that any organic ingredients were used in its formula.
Here is a better understanding of how the vitamins and minerals are supplied in the formula:
- Chlorella – A good source of plant protein, chlorophyll, beta carotene, and vitamin B12
- Rice Kernel Membrane Powder – A source of B vitamins and fiber
- Kelp – A sea vegetable rich in essential and trace minerals, a source of fiber and sodium
- Spirulina – High in protein, a source of iron, and contains all eight essential amino acids
- Dulse – Rich in potassium, a source of lithium
- Kamut Juice – An ancient grain that delivers zinc, phosphorus, and manganese (we only use the juice, so it adds no gluten)
- Lecithin – Helps emulsify fats, high in phosphatidylcholine
- Jerusalem Artichoke Powder – A good source of potassium, supports gut flora
- Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium Bifidum BB47 – Two lactose-free sources of friendly gut bacteria to promote normal digestion
Proto-col Green Magic website has 58 reviews on it with a rating of 4.9 out of five stars. However, we generally like to look at third-party websites for reviews because they tend to be more unbiased and honest.
We looked at Amazon and only found 22 reviews; this could have something to do with a recent rebranding or name change. Their overall global rating is 4.8 out of five stars.

The recommended serving size from Proto-col Green Magic suggests taking 3 grams at a minimum and up to 9 grams a day for maximum results.
This will make the cost per serving vary according to how much you take per serving each day. We will include the pricing based on both recommendations.
One Container of Proto-col Green Magic costs $29.95 and comes with 180 grams of powder.
Here is the breakdown per servings:
- 3 grams is approximately 60 servings at the cost of $0.49 per serving
- 9 grams is approximately 20 servings at the cost of $1.50 per serving
Some customers did mention it was a bit difficult trying to get the measurements right per serving. We suggest finding a 3g measurement tool and using it accordingly.
If you want to try the Proto-col Green Magic Capsules instead of the powder form, you can get one bottle for $19.95 ($0.65 per serving), and the recommended serving is five capsules per day, so one bottle will have 30 servings in it.

We really had high hopes for Proto-col Green Magic; from the clean packaging to the land and sea ingredients, it really had the magic to make a powerful super greens product.
However, with the ingredient list being so mysterious and none of the ingredients listing any amounts, we have to admit this was not the best way to promote this product.
As you already know, when a brand is not fully transparent about its ingredients values, they are asking you to just trust them that you will be getting everything you need from using its product.
Fortunately for us, that’s not working because we always need to know what we are consuming to make sure we are meeting our daily requirements for both vitamins and minerals.
If, in the future, Proto-col Green Magic chooses to update its ingredient list and include the amounts of each ingredient, we’d be more than happy to give it another look.
