Greens 8000 Review

Greens 8000When it comes to consuming enough greens throughout the day, many people struggle. Getting a little help or a lot of help matters, and this is why we are digging deep into the product known as Greens 8000.

They use 100% vegan ingredients in their formula, which consists of over 50 different varieties, including a lot that are organic. From freeze-dried fruits to probiotics along with enzymes and vegetables, Greens 8000 is chocked full of great sources.

Greens World Inc produces greens 8000, and we will talk about their background and promises are down below.

An interesting point to make about this company and their Greens 8000 is that they are family-oriented, and they say this formula is safe for both adults and children, something you rarely see with other greens products.

They claim their top priority provides comprehensive nutritional coverage with additional immunity benefits. We decided to look further into their claims and give you the bottom line of whether or not Greens 8000 makes the grade.

Greens World Inc, founded by Coco March, a Naturopathic Medical Doctor. She decided after treating many patients that most of them had a deficiency in nutrients. These usually come naturally from fruits and vegetables.

Instead of trying to push or convince her patients to eat more nutritious foods, she set out to create a product that would deliver a lot of the same benefits as those foods but would be easy to consume in just one serving. This is how Greens 8000 came to life.

Since Coco March was already well-known due to her appearances on national television and writing numerous articles for a variety of newspapers and magazines about the importance of nutrition, it was only natural that she would create and promote Greens 8000.

From what we can see, the brand has two products in this category, Greens 8000 and Reds 8000. The website is only focused on the Greens 8000 product and doesn’t give a whole lot of details about Green World Inc.

Oddly enough, the website doesn’t actually promote a lot of claimed benefits and is quite secretive about their formula. In fact, it even calls the taste mysterious. That alone had us even more curious about what people were saying about this mysterious and secretive product.

We decided to go outside the website for Greens 8000 and see if Amazon had any more details that could help us understand the benefits of using Greens 8000. Luckily, there is a lot more information there and also a fair amount of reviews.

It appears that the brand Greens 8000 is claiming the following benefits:

  • Improves and Increases Digestion
  • Increases Energy Levels
  • Boosts Your Immune System
  • Aids with Repair and Recovery
  • Boosts Your Metabolism
  • Helps Release Toxins from the Body
  • Assists with Fat Burning
  • Increases Longevity

We were surprised that Greens 8000 did not include all these incredible benefits on their actual website. So let’s take a look at what’s inside of a tub of Green’s 8000.

They claim that the formula for Greens 8000 has over 50 ingredients, and we were excited to see what all was included.

Firstly, the formula has the following working for it on the plus side:

  • 100% Vegan
  • Non-GMO
  • Lactose-Free
  • No Fillers
  • No MSG
  • No Preservatives

Unfortunately, when looking into the ingredients for Greens 8000, it shows that all the ingredients fall under proprietary blends, meaning the individual ingredient weights are not disclosed.

This is an issue for us because we can’t tell if the product is dosed correctly. If you don’t know the weights of each ingredient, then there is no way to know if you are getting the daily requirements.

However, very few brands disclose the weights, so we won’t hold this against the brand in the review – but we do want our readers to understand how vital the NON-use of proprietary blends truly is.

Note: The proprietary blends are pretty heavy in weight, and this could mean that the required amounts of each ingredient are supported in this product, but we don’t know for sure.

  • Other Ingredients – Stevia, Citric Acid, Natural Flavours

As you can see, a lot of the ingredients are organically sourced, and that makes a difference in the quality of a greens powder.

Greens 8000 has four different flavors for you to choose from:

  • Original
  • Berry
  • Mocha
  • Chocolate

Depending on your taste preference, one of these four flavors should work for you. We found that even the original was easy to digest, and a lot of the reviews comment about liking the taste of Greens 8000.

However, there are some reviews that claim there is a minty flavor lurking in the taste. Others found the use of stevia to give too much sweetness in a product designed for its health benefits.

Since this product is marketed as being safe for both adults and children, we expected to see that there weren’t any side effects listed, and even the reviews didn’t have any bad things to report. (please see our final conclusion at the end)

However, this product does have a warning label on it, and that could be because it is under California law, but regardless it does state that it may contain substances that could cause birth defects and reproductive harm.

This isn’t something we usually see on a greens powder or supplement, and the fact that they are promoting this to both adults and children does have us a little concerned.

Spirulina

Like we mentioned above, the website is pretty simple and doesn’t list any reviews on it for any of their flavors for the Greens 8000. But, on Amazon, you can find a lot of reviews for each flavor. Here is what some people are saying:

I’m no longer tired in the middle of the day.Tara L.

I like this because drinking this ensures that I’ve gotten all my vegetables for the day. I’ve tried several brands and liked this one best.L. F.

This product has helped give me a lot of nutrients and increased my health!Brenda T.

Delicious way to ensure I get a variety of healthful greens.Kindle Customer

The best chocolate smoothie mix I’ve ever tried. Excellent source of greens like spirulina and chlorella.TruthBeTold

I am crediting this product to an increase in energy levels and immunity!!Madi M

We did find that some people found the Greens 8000 to be on the sweet side; however, that was mainly for the berry flavor.

You can get 30 servings of Greens 8000 in one tub for $26.00 ($0.87 per serving). This is on the cheaper side when compared to other greens products on the market.

However, when a brand uses proprietary blends, the price should be lower than a brand that is fully transparent about their ingredients.

When we review products for getting your greens in, we always hope that the company creating the formula is completely transparent and doesn’t use proprietary blends. We know that this is more common than not for these types of products, but we hope that will change in the near future.

We were impressed with the list of ingredients for Greens 8000 until we discovered the use of Lead. This is a bit concerning because of all the dangers affiliated with consuming anything with Lead in it. Therefore, we can’t really suggest the use of Greens 8000 to our readers.

If, in the future, Greens 8000 removed the traces of Lead found in their products and became more transparent about their ingredients values and weights, we would be happy to do another review at a later date.

Until then, stay healthy and get your daily required greens in!
