Ketond is one of the most popular ketone supplement suppliers in the US, and the products they produce are tested by none other than the US Department of Defense. The Ketond formula is supposed to increase agility, clarity, and concentration. It’s a widely loved and highly respected product.
However, the brand has now started producing a super greens formula. The brains behind the brand found it concerning to realize that “90% of keto and low carb dieters lack many of the essential micronutrients provided by the consumption of fruits and vegetables” (1). So, Ketond did something about it.

Ketond Super Greens formula is a mixture of potent fruits and vegetables, digestive enzymes, mushrooms, and grasses. The brand claims that all of the ingredients within the formula are organic, but the formula as a whole isn’t certified organic, and the fruit ingredients aren’t labeled as organic, which seems disappointing.
The formula is obviously designed to be suitable for people on a ketogenic diet, but it’s also suitable for vegetarians and vegans, as well as being gluten-free and dairy-free, meaning an array of people can consume the formula without it interfering with dietary or allergen requirements.
Ketond claims that the super greens formula gives the consumer their recommended daily dose of fruits and vegetables in just one scoop. In addition, overall, the formula provides the consumer with the essential vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients needed for daily optimum health.
However, the brand also claims that the blend provides other, more specific health benefits to the consumer. These health benefits are split up into three different categories –
- Energy and improved mental performance
- Immune system boost
- Helping the break down of food
Starting with the area of energy and mental performance, the blend includes certain ingredients that can provide the mind with clarity, reduce oxidative stress, and calm anxiety. Certain ingredients provide the consumer with a long-lasting boost of energy.
The formula is packed with ingredients that contain strong antioxidants that help to boost the immune system, as well as the essential vitamins and minerals the immune system needs to operate at the best level.
All of the micronutrients, enzymes, and fibers within the formula make sure the body can break down food properly and absorb nutrients in the best way possible, whilst at the same time supporting the digestive system and ensuring microflora of the gut stays healthy.
That’s not all of the health benefits that derive from the formula, because each ingredient within the mix has its own beneficial properties. However, overall, they are the most obvious health benefits that derive from the formula.
The Super Greens formula contains 31 ingredients in total, which are all split into 4 different proprietary blends apart from the flavoring ingredient – stevia.

It seems such a shame that the brand has decided to use proprietary blends within this formula when they are so transparent and show the amount of every ingredient within all of the ketone supplements they make. Proprietary blends aren’t beneficial for the consumer because they can’t see how much of each ingredient they are consuming, only a general amount of each blend as a whole.
Let’s take a closer look at each of these 4 proprietary blends and the ingredients that make them up.
Organic Greens Complex
Obviously, each of these ingredients has its own specific health benefits, but overall, these 11 ingredients within this blend are packed with essential vitamins and minerals needed for daily optimum health. Some of these ingredients, such as spirulina, broccoli, and carrot provide the consumer with long-lasting boosts of energy. As a whole, these ingredients provide large numbers of antioxidants that help to protect cells from radical damage and change, as well as push toxins from the body and make it more alkaline.
Fruit Antioxidant Complex
Pineapple Juice Powder, Lemon Juice Powder, Acerola Cherry Juice Powder, Raspberry Juice Powder, Apple Powder, Papaya Powder, Pomegranate Juice Powder, Strawberry Juice Powder, Lime Juice Powder, Passion Fruit Juice Powder, Prickly Pear Juice Powder, Blueberry Powder, Katemfe Fruit Extract
There are 13 fruits within this complex, and there’s nothing to indicate that this blend or its ingredients are organic, which seems suspicious when the brand claims the entire formula is organic. Nevertheless, the ingredients within this formula are potent and packed with antioxidants. The antioxidants from these ingredients help to protect the cells from radical change and damage whilst at the same time pushing toxins from the body and aiding the body with moving towards a more alkaline state.
This blend as a whole improves heart health, increases the appearance of the skin, supports the health of the digestive system, and may promote weight loss. In addition, ingredients such as pineapple contain strong enzymes that aid with the breakdown of foods and the absorption of nutrients.
Digestion Complex (Inulin, Astragin, Ginger Powder)
The digestion complex contains 3 powerful ingredients. Inulin is a powerful prebiotic that improves the microflora of the gut and ensures it’s healthy. It also regulates bowel movements and aids with weight loss (2). AstraGin® is a compound made from ancient Chinese medicine ingredients and it promotes a healthy gut as well as increases nutrient absorption (3).
Ginger reduces inflammation of the digestive system, reducing the risk of stomach ulcers and protecting the lining of the gut (4).
Mushroom Complex (Maitake Extract, Reishi Extract, Shitake Extract)
The mushroom complex consists of three of the most powerful mushrooms that bring benefits to both the body and the mind.
Maitake mushrooms are adaptogens and assist the body with fighting illnesses, whether physical or mental. They also boost the immune system and lower cholesterol (5). Reishi mushrooms also boost the immune system, fight depression, and increase energy levels (6).
Shitake mushrooms are packed with vital amino acids and they support heart health, boost the immune system, and may have anti-cancer properties (7).
All of the ingredients within the mix are incredibly impressive and have a number of powerful health benefits for the consumer, it’s just unfortunate that the ingredients sit within proprietary blends.
Due to the fact, the brand has only added stevia extract to naturally flavor the formula, the formula does have the grassy, earthy taste that’s associated with super greens powders. This doesn’t mean that the formula tastes bad, in fact, it’s quite refreshing and light, but if this is your first time using a naturally flavored super greens powder, it might taste overpowering.
Ketond doesn’t offer any options when it comes to the cost of the Super Greens formula, and it can only be purchased in one size tub at the same price. There’s no discount if you order larger quantities of the product, and there’s no discount option. There’s also no money-back guarantee.
One tub of Ketond Super Greens contains 140g of the formula, and the recommended serving size is 7g. Therefore, if you use the recommended serving size, one tub of the formula contains 20 servings.
One tub of the formula, on the Ketond website, costs $34.95. If you were to use the recommends serving size, this works out at a cost per serving of $1.75.
Although this isn’t overly expensive, it’s also not overly cheap or cost-effective, especially because the formula contains proprietary blends. In comparison to other super greens powders without proprietary blends, this is quite expensive.
As one of the least popular products offered by Ketond, this formula doesn’t have a multitude of reviews about the product. For example, on Amazon, there are only 10 reviews from real customers. Although, 63% of these reviews are 4 stars or higher. However, it’s interesting that all of the reviews on Amazon are from Vine reviewers (people that get the product for free in exchange for honest feedback).

We make a lot of green smoothies at our house and this is the perfect addition to enhancing our immune system and getting all the amazing nutrients found in this super green blend. It has no sugar or fillers and tastes 100% fresh. I recently sprinkled some over some baked broccoli with olive oil and a little salt to serve to my two kids and they loved it. It’s a wonderful product to have on hand to enhance immunity and overall health. I would purchase it again.
There’s also a small selection of more critical reviews, mostly with the concern that the tub doesn’t have any labels on it – this isn’t safe and therefore we can understand the concerns.

Missing a label which made me a bit suspect. It tastes as expected (grassy) which I don’t mind, but it is over a dollar a serving making it a rather costly smoothie additive.
The Ketond Super Greens formula is available to purchase on the Ketond website directly, or through Amazon. However, due to the lack of labeling concerns on the Amazon reviews, we recommend purchasing it directly through the Ketond website. At the time of writing this article, the formula was not available in any high street store.
The selection of ingredients within the formula is impressive, but the fact that these ingredients are all found within proprietary blends is a concern for the customer as it’s unknown if the correct amount of each ingredient is being consumed.
In addition, the cost isn’t especially cheap and the concerns over the lack of labels on tubs make the brand seem less trustworthy. It would be nice to see the Ketond brand put as much dedication and effort into the creation of this Super Greens formula as they have in the other ketone supplements.
